Kyoto Tobei'an Silk Scroll

This dessert has been handed down since the Edo period. The craftsmen carefully knead sugar and maltose to make the sweet snack "Ariheito", then roll up the pancakes mixed with sesame seeds and bake them one by one by hand. The crunchy texture and elegant sweetness of the yubato, combined with the slightly sesame-flavored pancake, is an absolutely wonderful treat.
