Internationally renowned Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama works in a wide range of media, from drawing, painting, and photography to installation and performance art.
Kusama's art is deeply influenced by the dreams and visions of a world covered in polka-dot patterns that she saw during her teenage years.
Throughout her 60-year career, she has created works in paintings, drawings and sculptures layered with dots, grids, squiggles and stickers.
The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City has a collection of works by Yayoi Kusama in various media, spanning her career from the 1950s to the present day.
