Japanese Shinobu Whisky 700ml
Niigata Beer Co., Ltd., a famous Japanese brewery, is located in the beautiful Niigata region of Japan and is famous for its three white treasures: "water", "white rice" and "sake". The winery uses Mizunara wood barrels to age various wines. This wood is one of the rarest and most expensive oak woods in the world. The Mizunara trees that can be used to make barrels must be between 200 and 500 years old . The fine wines brewed from Mizunara wood have scents of sandalwood, coconut, spices, Japanese agarwood, etc.
The Shinobu series launched by the distillery uses whiskeys brewed in bourbon barrels and sherry barrels from all over the world as the base wine, which is then matured in precious Mizunara barrels. It is blended with pure water from the Niigata area. The natural wine color is additive-free, and it is paired with a Japanese samurai wine label, allowing everyone who drinks it to feel the samurai spirit of "Ninja".
"Koshino Ninja Whisky" won the gold medal in competitions such as the 2019 Ultimate Spirits Challenge. The nose is full of toasted nuts, jelly pears and blueberries that gently pass through the nose. An initial nose of black pepper and cloves leads to ripe citrus fruits and baked apples before a lingering, smooth finish.
