The blend is based on various sakes from the Fuji Gotemba Distillery, and is blended to enhance the "slightly sweet aroma and clear taste" and "rich and delicious flavor."

The raw whiskey is made through processes such as saccharification, fermentation, distillation, cask filling and aging, and its flavor is influenced by the terroir of the place where it grows. At the Fuji Gotemba Distillery, there is abundant groundwater from Mount Fuji, thick fog throughout the year, a cool climate, and clean air from the forest at the foot of Mount Fuji. These factors make it possible to achieve the "sweet oak-aged aroma in a clear flavor" that the ice cream pursues.
